Stuff...

This funny thing happens every 5 years on your birthday... your driver's license expires and you are supposed to renew it! The DMV sends you a notice in the mail and everything. Unfortunately, sometimes people put the notice aside and then forget about it. Yep, that's what I did! I realized yesterday morning, out of the blue, that I forgot to renew my driver's license. Luckily, it just expired on Saturday so I wasn't driving illegally for too long, but still. So, lucky me, I got to go down to the DMV this morning. On the plus side, they had me take a new picture. I guess that's good since the picture on my old license was 10 years old. I look kind of different now... So in 2-4 weeks I will have a bright, shiny new driver's license! Thank God they didn't make me take a test because I probably wouldn't have passed it, lol!

I had my birthday party last night. The whole family got together at my sister's house. We had pizza and birthday cake and played Battle of the Sexes. Let me tell you, that game is hard! And frustrating! Just when you start making some progress towards the end, you get sent back to the beginning! All I asked for was cash for my upcoming Vegas trip. Some may think that is tacky but I really don't care. I usually just get gift cards anyways so what's the difference? I ended up with a good amount so I'm excited. It's less money that I have to earn on my own. The boys had a blast with my sister's roommates. They don't usually take to strangers too well, but there was something about these guys that the boys just took to.

After my adventure at the DMV this morning, the baby and I had lunch at Panda Express. I really need to stop doing this... I really wonder how much money I would save if I didn't eat out for a whole month (not to mention how much weight I could lose...) I just have no will power though. I mean, if we are already out, we may as well get lunch, right? Even if it is only 10:30 in the morning and we have plenty of time to get home before lunch...

Hello,
You have quite a nice blog. You have a lot of posts and nice pictures. I am also a SAHM. It is tough, but I only have one two year old,so still I can't complain much. My husband thinks it is so easy to work from home and take care of a toddler.
Anyway, I was wondering if you have given any thought to monetizing your blog. You have a reference to "saving money" or using coupons on your blog. There is a lot you can do to connect with others who like to save, and subtly introduce them to products on your blog that would give them exactly what they want. Plus it would turn your blog into a cash register within a reasonable amount of time. Also, I see that you like buying on ebay. But I dont see anything on your blog about ebay. I am sure you have a reason, but you could use that strength as a money maker too. Perhaps you have so much income that you dont need a blog that makes money for you. I need my blogs to make money for me so I have a natural tendency to reach out to other's who have a gorgeous blog like you. Well, I hope to make friends and learn from the creativity of your blog as I go on to improving my own. They really need to be updated. Plus the pics on my decor blog needs correcting. Anyway, I enjoyed your blog. We have some things in common. Have a blessed day.
